Most companies will meet AI agents not in a coding tool but in a business workflow: chasing invoices, triaging email, answering staff questions. n8n is where a lot of that gets built. What n8n 2.x offers for agents (the AI Agent node, MCP in both directions, human review of tool calls, the new Agents preview), a self-hosted setup that will survive production, two tested workflows you can import, and the licence question every services company has to answer.
